Dr Ashwini Bhalerao is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, an alumni of Nair hospital dental college. She has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery exclusively having her own surgical clinic and attached as a visiting consultant to private nursing homes in Mumbai. She has been a recipient of the prestigious Oral Surgeon of the year at Famdent excellence in dentistry award. Recently in March 2020, she also received the diploma of membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal college of physicians and surgeons of Glasgow. She has lectured extensively in India and abroad.. Her favourite event was the TEDx conclave at Baden Baden in Germany in 2017 , where she spoke alongside 35 leading lady dentists from around the world.
She also holds a 2-day teaching module “ Fundamentals of Oral Surgery “ for general practitioners.
A proud Rotarian , she loves doing pro bono work at the rotary clinics in Wada, Maharashtra.
Mother of two daughters, she loves reading, traveling and her regimen of running 10 kms everyday is sacred.

Dr. Akshay Kumarswamy is a second-generation periodontist from Mumbai, India. He is board certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. After his undergraduate education from CODS, Davanagere he obtained his Certificate in Advanced Dentistry from Boston University and followed it up with a 3 years Masters of Science degree from the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, which is one of the top 5 dental colleges in the world. Post his training, he taught at 2 different schools in USA and was the Director of the Implant training program at East Carolina University. He still holds a license to practice dentistry in the state of Florida. He currently practices full time in Mumbai along with training future dentists in the field of Periodontics and Implantology.
